Rocket French is a course that teaches you the French language. One of the great things about the product is, it can be downloaded over the internet. You can also buy it as a
hard copy but it’s much more expensive. The course starts off with 25 lessons that deal with the very basics of the French language. Next, it has 10 lessons that would be considered as intermediate lessons. These lessons build on the technical aspects of the language. The last 10 lessons focus on real life conversation skills.
Every lesson is said to take about a half an hour to one and a haft hour depending on the individual ability. Each lesson begins by introducing the topics that are going to be covered as well as the new French words that you are going to learn. When you go through the introduction of the lesson, if there are any French words that you are have problems or want to go over, you can click on the audio and it will say the English interpretation then the French equivalent, by repeating it twice.
Each lesson has many examples and exercises that you will go over at your own pace. There is even a random button feature that you can push and an additional sentence from the lesson can be heard so that you can practice on your own and get a better understanding of concepts if necessary. There are three games the course uses to teach called, Mega verb, Mega Vocab, and Mega Audio. These games can help you put all the concepts that you learnt together. You will also be given 310 flash cards that are used when you first start with the course in which 216 flashcards are more advanced.
Rocket French provides a web-based step by step lesson covering basics, pronunciation, and also grammar, vocabulary and everyday French. The audio support is useful for better oral comprehension .Overall; the course is great because any one at any skill level can use it.
