Roboform is a program that manages passwords and one of the best utility programs today.

RoboForm allows the user to:

• Handle passwords and uses them to automatically login to sites
• Make random passwords, using a greater strength of password so you wont have to make up passwords

• Fight phishing attacks by making sure that you are using your password to matching sites
• Defeat key-loggers by staying away from the keyboard to key-in your passwords

In January of 2008, PC World named RoboForm as one of the best 25 products you cannot live without.

Roboform supports Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, MSN/AOL, Firefox and mobile phones like Blackberry, Palm, and Windows Mobile. It is portable and could run from a USB stick. There is even a new version available on the Internet to sync all the versions of your Roboform and be usable anywhere. It works even there are javascript to prevent password monitoring softwares.

You could also utilize it to save secret notes, for bookmarks, or print a complete passwords list. You could even utilize it to key-in search phrases for search engines.

Roboform could use a lot of “Identities” used to fill in web forms. For instance, you may want an Identity to give the data needed for ordering from secured websites and another Identity to give less data for signing up for free newsletters and etc.

Roboform has a free version, giving a limited number of identities and passcards – which if you do less work online – is ideal for starters. You could upgrade later if you select; however, if you are engrossed in any kind of online marketing or utilize the Internet a lot, I recommend that you buy the Pro version from the start.

If you are like me, it is so easy to get overwhelmed trying to memorize the right login/password combination for the sites you visit and use.

It has been a savior for me for a few years. I put mine on a flash drive so I could use it on any computers.
