Blinkweb - Introductory Review

By floshow25 | July 15, 2008

Blinkweb is the latest internet tool to be introduced by the Callen brothers, the authors of product like the SEO Elite, Keyword Elite, and several books related to Search Engine optimization. This is basically a website generation/creation tool, designed to make things simple for the frustrated beginner. Think back to the first time you or I tried to set up a blog /website and the frustrations that we had to go through. For the webmasters who are not techno savvy this tool should be perfect. This tool claims to make creating websites easy. The Callen brothers hope to level the field with this product and compete head on with the Dreamweavers and the Microsofts of today’s web design world.

But what is Blinkweb? Well, due to the fact that this product is yet to be launched publicly, it will be quite a while before that query is answered. But from the video that the Callen brothers have posted all over the internet and by way of email, Blinkweb should enable easy handling of website creation in addition to allowing the to tinker with the program.

Most of the products released so far by the Callen brothers assume a certain degree of technical expertise on the part of the users. But with this one, the degree of separation between the tech and the non tech webmasters should lessen if anything else. The website creation looks eerily similar to creating a Squidoo page. The websites created by this tool will be hosted with the Blinkweb servers and the content will be owned by Blinkweb. That may be an advantage or not, depends on your point of view. Blinkweb may not be a great product with regard to ‘paid to blog’ opportunities as advertisers prefer to advertise on websites with their own domain or a popular domain like blogspot. But if you do not have the requisite technical knowledge, then this may be the product for you. So far, only a introduction of Blinkweb has been made available and time will tell whether Blinkweb lives up to its hype.

On the issue of outbound links, we cannot tell you whether they will be do follow or no follow at this time. But seeing that Squidoo has already lost favor with Google, the same may well happen to Blinkweb in which case the above query will become irrelevant. The Callen brothers have introduced another product from their closet and with their reputation; this can be expected to be quite popular. This just a primer on Blinkweb, so stay tuned for there is more to come!

And did I mention it’s FREE?

I am now a registered user over at Blinkweb and can’t wait to review all the options. The Blinkweb site is officially live and open to all - for FREE.
That’s right, there is no charge to sign up for Blinkweb. I just spent about ten minutes checking out the site and making some pages and I can tell that Blinkweb is an awesome tool.
